Windows 10
Pros
1— It can run on a much smaller computer with little to no lag online, offline it is more likely to lag, but you can probably get away with it on the low render and graphics settings… Although I can’t wait to upgrade to a faster pc for other programs. The computer I currently run it on is a
ASUS Notebook With only
Processor Intel(R) CPU Z3735F @ 1.33GHz
Installed RAM 2.00 Gb
System Type 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor
With only 28.8 GB of space and that without subtracting the GB for just having windows 10 on it. It’s a slow little PC, but was a gift and I am happy to have it.

Microsoft’s minimum requirements are
Windows 10 version 14393.0 or higher
Architecture ARM, x64, x86
Memory 4 GB
Processor Intel i5-4690 | AMD A10-7800
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 | AMD Radeon R5
But recommends
Windows 10 version 14393.0 or higher
Architecture ARM, x64, x86
Memory 8 GB
Motion controller Windows Mixed Reality motion controllers
Headset Windows Mixed Reality immersive headset
Processor Intel i7-6500U | AMD A8-6600K
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 940M | AMD Radeon HD 8570D

2— It is easy to add friends and play offline together.
Simple make an Xbox account and add them as a friend. If you are both online and one is running an offline world or on multiplayer (a server), it will show up saying a friend is online.
3— You will probably run into fewer hackers
4— You can play with friends even if they are on xbox or on there phone.
Cons
1— Price US $26:99
2— Mods are a lot harder to install
3— A lot fewer mods in general.
4— Not as many Free downloadable worlds
5— Fewer servers
6— The plugins aren’t that good compared to Java

7— They push you to keep spending more money,
Like -Buy our Skins & our worlds & Texture Packs…… Basically, anything you can add to Windows 10, they will try to sell ya.

Java/bedrock
Pros
1— Price US $15:95
2— Tons of awesome mods. So much so that it basically a sandbox within a sandbox. Just about anything you can think of, there is a mod for it out there. You like dinosaurs or Dragons? BOOM!!! There’s a mod for that. You like building and want more blocks? BOOM!!! There is a mod for that too. Personally I love adding mods that have more mobs, structures and better landscape. ❤
3— There are tons of servers to play on, including ones with awesome mods!!
4— Lots of awesome Free worlds, skins and texture packs you can download and easily add.
5— You can get a cool texture packs and shaders to make the game look super realistic.
6— You can download a mod called OptiFine to make your game run even smoother.
Cons
1— You can only play with other people on java edition.
2— You have to be on the same internet or download a program like Hamachi, to play with friends on single player worlds.
3— It takes a Fast and expensive computer to run. I paid $600 for a pc and it runs nice, but I don’t have all the graphics set to high or the render too far out, plus as they keep adding updates, you will need to keep getting a bigger pc. The update with all the new stuff added to the water slowed really made it slower.

Minecraft PE
Okay just to be clear here. I only ever played on an iphone 4 on the free version of Minecraft a long time ago. So maybe stuff has changed. Here is what I remember from then and a bit of newer info
Pros
1— Price US $6:99 Hard to beat that.
2— It’s on your phone so it goes everywhere with you
3— You can use your phone cell date to play
4— Your Phone probably has all the specs it needs
5— You can play with your friends even if they are on Xbox or Windows 10.
Cons
1— It’s hard to fight, I have heard a few people complain about not being able to fight that good.
2— Hard to build
3— Hard to play in general
4— Because it works with other platforms you will be up against people who can fight and move around easier then you can.
5— You have to buy or go through a bit of work to get a custom skin.
Conclusion
Java is the best end of story.. 😛

Just kidding……
Java
(The most options)(mods, servers & other)
If you have a lot of money for a fast pc or maybe you already have one. I think Java has the most options and is the best bang for your buck if you don’t count pc cost, but if you have friends who already play on a different version, then I would look into a different edition.
Windows 10/Bedrock
Good if you don’t have a fast pc or want to play with friends on other editions.
Minecraft PE
Best price
Will work with friends as long as they don’t use Java.
You probably don’t have to buy a phone.
Please remember this is my personal opinion and is in no way the only one you should go off of. watch some youtube on each plat form and look at your options.
Thanks for reading and happy Hunting.
P.S. if you enjoyed or know of some other stuff I should add to this, please leave a comment.
